OVERVIEW
Melting Pot Food Tours’ own “Maritime Tour”. Join us for a 2.5- hour walking tour from the Pacific Ocean in East Village Long Beach. Take a stroll through alleyways for a viewing of public art, plus meet amazing merchants, experience personal family recipes and so much more.
Landlubbers, we are squeezing in a lot in with this foodie tour. This maritime tour is a splash of history, and a big dash of local culture. Join us for tastings, local flavors, and civic art. Our guides will share stories about this “beatnik” neighborhood, plus The Long Beach Port and The LA Port and so much more. For an extra dose of fun and retro, we’ve included a record store with vinyl and cassettes. For the inner foodie, the tour will taste Thai, Italian, Vegan samplings, local street tacos, and more!
MEETING AND PARKING INFO:
Parking at Harvey Milk City Plaza Parking Center. We meet under the brown Harvey Milk Sign on the promenade, on the South side of the parking structure under the brown Harvey Milk Sign on the promenade.

Please print the directions to the meeting location if you are unfamiliar with the neighborhood. Allow yourself ample time to arrive on time and to park; the tour begins promptly at 11:30 am.

3.0-hour tour, also available to groups of 10-80 touring (group tours are available any day, any time of the week).Public tours start at 12:00, tour times approximately 3.0 hours. Gratuity & parking not included in cost of tour.
Sales tax is included in the ticket price. Gratuity is not included and is always appreciated for our guide at the end of the tour.
