Melting Pot Food Tours’ own “Maritime Tour”. Join us for a 2.5-hour walking tour steps from the Pacific Ocean in East Village Long Beach. Take a stroll through alleyways for a viewing of public art, plus meet amazing merchants, experience personal family recipes and so much more.

Landlubbers, we are squeezing in a lot in with this foodie tour. This maritime tour is a splash of history, and a big dash of local culture. Join us for tastings, local flavors, and civic art. Our guides will share stories about this “beatnik” neighborhood, plus The Long Beach Port and The LA Port and so much more. For an extra dose of fun and retro, we’ve included a record store with vinyl and cassettes. For the inner foodie, the tour will taste Thai, Italian, Vegan samplings, local street tacos, and kombucha, and more. Join us!

Note: The Maritime Museum in San Pedro is at special request only. Please allow extra time for this tour of the museum with your guide.

2.5 hours – 8 generous tastings. Also available to groups of 10-80 touring (group tours available any day, any time of the week). Public tours start at 11:30 am, tour times approximately 2.5 hours. Gratuity & parking not included in cost of tour.

For weekends only, there is “All Day parking, located in a condominium located at 338 East Ocean Avenue. It is on the South side of the street – approach the condo, drive into the underground structure, this is a small driveway approach. The cost on the weekend is all day for $12.00.
Park, take the elevator up to ground level, walk opposite LINDEN AVE to the “drive up” off the sidewalk. You will pass a small park and water fountain on your left with a bench. This is Hart Place Park. Your tour guide will meet you in front of The Terrace Theatre, Long Beach Performing Arts Theatre, located at 300 East Ocean Ave Long Beach (about 500 feet in front of the fountains).
