Melting Pot Food Tours’ own “Maritime Tour”. Join us for a 4-hour walking tour steps from the Pacific Ocean in two historical cities, plus a trip over the span of Long Beach and Los Angeles Ports. We’ll visit East Village Long Beach, take a stroll through alleyways for a viewing of public art, plus meet amazing merchants, experience personal family recipes and so much more. Our second destination by car is in San Pedro. We’re not done yet!

We’ll do tastings at a local family pub, visit some maritime sites and if time allows, we’ll drop into a curiosity shop. Transportation is needed for this tour and not included in the cost of the tour.

We also offer an extended version of the tour that includes the Los Angeles Maritime Museum, where you can learn the history of Los Angeles Harbor and explore fascinating exhibits, a research library, and even a ham radio station!

Note: The Maritime Museum is at special request only. Please allow extra time for this tour of the museum with your guide.

For weekends only, there is “All Day parking, located in a Condominium located at the 338 East Ocean Avenue. It is on the South side of the street, approach the Condo drive into the underground structure, this is a small driveway approach. The cost on the weekend is all day for $12.00.

Park, take the elevator up to the ground level, walk opposite of LINDEN AVE to the “drive up” off the sidewalk. You will pass a small park and water fountain on your left with a bench. This is Hart Place Park. Your tour guide will meet you in front of The Terrace Theatre, Long Beach Performing Arts Theatre, located at 300 East Ocean Ave Long Beach (about 500 feet in front of the fountains).
